Youjin Noh 


Youjin  has worked for seven years at the Hamilton Kerr institute of Cambridge University as painting conservator, undertaking the restoration of many works of national importance, including the Adoration of the Shepherds by Sebastiano del Piombo (Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge University) which has won the Museums and Heritage Award for Restoration/Conservation.  In 2015, Youjin decided to move to Hong Kong and set up her own restoration studio.

Youjin holds a Masters Degree in Painting Conservation from Sorbonne University (Maîtrise des Sciences et Techniques de Conservation - Restauration des Biens Culturels) in Paris as well as a Masters Degree on Paper Conservation from the University of London. Prior to gaining her conservation qualifications, Youjin had studied Asian Arts at Ewha University in Seoul.

Youjin specializes in conservation and restoration of paintings, from old masters to contemporary art. From her studio in Hong Kong, Youjin provides the following services:


  • Full restoration and conservation services, including structural work (tear mending, lining);
  • Condition surveys;
  • Advising on preventive conservation, framing, hanging, transportation.
